If those surveys are correct, they reveal widespread hypocrisy among Catholics and a failure of the Church's "moral" teachings to influence most of them. Censoring Pornography Is Counterproductive Paradoxically, attempts to suppress pornography usually increase demand for it. Such efforts are also counterproductive in other ways.
"Slut-Bashing" Is Sexual Harassment High-school students who call classmates "sluts" are engaging in sexual harassment. This behavior cannot be tolerated by school administrators and teachers. Nasty Porn, Friendly Porn, and Antisocial Behavior Some anti-sex zealots want to ban all pornography. But like other entertainment, the types of pornography range from bad to good. In judging entertainment and deciding how to deal with it, therefore, the focus should not be on whether it is pornographic. The focus should be on whether it is beneficial or harmful.
